Journeyman Scaffolders and Apprentices (All Levels)

Overview

Wrapex Industrial Services Inc. is currently looking for Journeymen Scaffolders & Apprentices to work out for our New Projects and Shutdown Works in Lloydminster, Bonnyville, Rocky Mountain House, Sundre, Redwater and Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. Applicants are required to put in the email subject the location they prefer to work and submit their applications to hr@wrapex.ca

Applicants must have own transportation and must be able to pass pre-access D&A test.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Execute industry acceptable building practices using both Tube & Clamp System scaffold
  • Must be able to mentor and direct apprentices and labors as required and able to communicate effectively with other trades
  • Must be able to follow direction and work with minimal supervision
  • Must be in good physical condition and able to work at heights
  • Must be able to work safely and follow safe work procedures

Education and Experience

  • Must be a Journeymen Scaffolder with valid journeyman ticket or Apprentice with proof of hours
  • Must possess valid tickets in
  • Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) 09 certificate
  • H2S Alive
  • OSSA Fall Protection
  • Standard First Aid CPR C / AED
  • Whmis 2015
  • OSSA Confined Space
  • Must have own hand tools and steel toed safety boots
  • Ability to multi task successfully and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work with heavy loads
  • Must be able to work in a physically demanding fast pace environment that may be located outdoors, in varied heights, in confined spaces, in dangerous and/or dusty environments.
  • Self-motivated and a team player with all teams/trades
  • Must support a safety-orientated work environment
  • Must have own transportation
